Jonathan Weiss is a German Ruby enthusiast from Berlin where he is a partner at Peritor GmbH. In his job he is responsible for developing a Rails based groupware and collaboration suite. He gained his first experiences with Rails under high traffic during the development of MeinProf.de, a very popular student community and the first site to use Mongrel and Apache’s mod_proxy_balancer. In his spare time he maintains Rubygems and Rails in the FreeBSD Ports system.
