Tom is the father of the Hobo project and a freelance web-developer and technical trainer, specialising in Ruby on Rails. He regularly teaches Skills Matter's Core Ruby on Rails course and Core Ajax course. He is also a co-author of the forthcoming Prototype and Scriptaculous Quickly from Manning. As CTO of LiveLogix, Tom created the Logix meta-programming system for Python. Having circled the globe (living in Boston, then Bangalore) in search of the American Start-Up Dream, he is now nestled back at home in rural Warwickshire with his wife and two daughters, and deeply immersed in the Hobo project.
