The Maritim proArte Hotel Berlin features 403 rooms, apartments and suites and each are equipped with a large writing table with optimum lighting, a cosy television armchair, 3 phones, fax connection, satellite TV, video, radio, mini bar and safe. Distinctinve bathrooms of Carrara marble and Black Amethyst Granite complete the guest rooms.
The spacious lounge radiating artistic flair is an ideal place for a meeting and for holding talks. The indoor pool with dry and Turkish sauna, solarium and fitness room enable guests to recover for the following day's program. Guests may end their day in the elegant Checkpoint bar after having enjoyed ouyr "tastefully" served delicacies in one of two restaurants, Restaurant Galerie and Restaurant Atelier, or the bistro.

Guest Room Rate: €154.91 for single room or €164.14 per night for a double/double room. Prices include VAT. A full Maritim breakfast buffet is an additional €20,00 per person. (Please note, the conference will not be providing breakfast.)
To receive the conference room rate, please identify yourself as attending "RailsConf Europe 2007" by completing the form and sending it to the hotel or calling the hotel's reservation number. The cut-off date for the group rate is 21 July 2007. Reservations received after 21 July 2007 (or after the room block sells out, whichever comes first) will be honored on a space-available at the prevailing rate of the hotel. All rates are single or double occupancy, traditional room.
Please provide 72 hours notice when canceling your reservations to avoid deposit forfeiture or penalties.

For EU and US citizens, a valid passport is needed to travel to Germany. Passports must be valid at least 6 months beyond intended stay. Travelers must also have tickets or documents for onward travel.
For non-EU and non-US citizens, please check with the Germany embassy or consulate in your country to learn the visa requirements for travel to Germany. Your visa application may require a letter of reference from O'Reilly Media, Inc. proving you will attend RailsConf Europe 2007. Please contact if you need such a letter. We advise you to apply for a visa as soon as possible.
